I attended 2 toddler birthday parties this past weekend, and my child ended up with 2 party favor bags (mostly) full of junk. As I was picking up some of the items scattered around my house, I had a great idea. Next time my kid gets a party favor bag, I'm going to quickly go through it and put most of it in a bin to be handed out at Halloween.*
*If you feel bad about handing out junky toys to other kids, reserve them for the teenagers and adults that come to the door.
